DSR Takes to the Banks at Orange County Speedway

Devin Steele is taking a break from his rookie campaign at Ace Speedway to try his hand at the notoriously fast Orange County Speedway. The 3/8-mile track in Rougemont, NC formerly hosted races in the Nascar Busch Series. Its wide, sweeping turns have been navigated by the likes of Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin, and are legendary for producing white-knuckle, side-by-side racing.
Steele is coming off a hard-fought 2nd place finish at Ace Speedway that propelled him to fourth in the KPMoto.com Modified point standings. The off-week at Ace is the perfect opportunity for the young driver to hone his skills on a track with a very different set of characteristics, requiring a different style of driving than the tight, paper-clip corners of Ace Speedway.
Racing at OCS kicks off at 7pm on Saturday, May 19. Check back here for updates on the weekend’s action or follow Devin on twitter at @DSteele_17.
